President of CCE Mexicali recently introduced the TNS (Total Nearshoring Solution) project—a long-term 10- to 20-year plan to support developers in building out Mexicali as a new industrial and urban hub close to U.S. markets. With over 50 years of export industry experience, Mexicali’s strengths, like its extensive flat land, skilled workforce, and Colorado River water access, position it ideally for this project. Through TNS, CCE Mexicali and its 15 partnering business chambers are laying the groundwork to make Mexicali more attractive for global investment, with integrated housing, education, and services infrastructure.
TNS not only supports this industrial growth but also works to streamline processes for developers by proactively providing thousands of hectares with pre-permitted utilities like water and electricity. This comprehensive support system reduces costs and accelerates setup timelines, creating an ideal environment for development. Through its forward-looking infrastructure strategy, Mexicali is set to evolve as a competitive destination for global businesses in the years ahead.
